The school gates open at 8.15am. Please walk your child down to class where their class teacher will be waiting.

Children should be in their class by 8.30am for the official start of the day and morning registration.

Lunch 12-1pm 

School finishes at 3:00pm.

This amounts to 32.5 hours in a typical week.

It is important that your child arrives at school on time as learning starts immediately. If you are late for any reason, please access the school through the office.

Gates close at WW at 8:30am.  Registers close at 8:40am

Gates close at Hewish at 8:45am. Registers close at 8:55am

Children who arrive after the register has closed, will be marked as unauthorised. 

Please book holidays within the school holiday dates so that your children maximise their learning in school.  Applications for term-time holidays will not be authorised, unless in very exceptional circumstances. For more information, please look at our attendance pages.
 

Please be aware that holidays in term time will incur a penalty fine if the absence exceeds 10 sessions in a ten-week rolling period (10 sessions is a total of 5 days). The 5 days do not need to be consecutive. The penalty fine is now £80 per parent per child, which is payable within 21 days. This rises to £160 if paid between 22 and 28 days. Failure to pay could result in prosecution.

If you do need to take your child out of school, please ensure you complete an absence request form which is available from the office.

Please be mindful that a second term holiday automatically incurs a penalty notice of £160 per child, per parent. We do not want anyone to be caught out by this large sum of money.
